Reader AC-APA01

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The AC-APA01 reader is used to read the code from the proximity card and send it to the system for verification.

It is created for cooperation with the Integrated Management System. This reader is a device that can work independently on the bus together with controllers. It can be used for: verification of access rights. controlling the switching on or off of any electrical devices that only authorized persons can use. work time registration. The reader itself has no outputs, which means it cannot control the devices by itself. Based on the code read from the card, the system can make decisions about activating any controller output defined in the system or save information to the database. In this way, each user (card) can be assigned individual access rights or actions at specific time intervals, including individual days of the week, non-working days and holidays. The number of users (cards) of the system that can be defined is theoretically not much smaller than the number of people living on earth, so it is possible to create a really large and extensive system. After reading the card number, the reader informs with an acoustic and optical signal whether a nearby card has certain permissions.

The decision to grant access can be made automatically by the system or by the operator after prior verification by the central unit. An attempt to disassemble the reader is immediately signaled to the operator and saved in the system thanks to a tamper sensor.

Technical parameters:

Power supply:POWER input

Constant voltage, unstable with a nominal value of 12V,

Permissible supply voltage of the controller itself 10-17V

Power consumption:ca 40mA
Frequency: 125kHz
Communication bus:RS485 input

RS 485 half duplex, speed 19200 b / s,

The permissible bus length is 1200m, 16 devices can be connected to the bus.

Sound signal:If the system does not recognize the card number or the blocked number is recognized, the reader will signal this with a long beep. If the system confirms the card’s credibility, two short beeps will be given. The sound signals can be turned off using the SW2 switch
Optical signaling device:There is a diode on the front casing of the device indicating the status of the reader.

The following optical diode signals can be specified: – blinking red – devices powered up, no communication with the bus supervising computer.- blinking green – the device is powered up, working properly.- lights up red – the card has not been recognized by the system or it has no rights to use the services of this part of the system.- lit orange – the device has read the card number and is waiting for the system response.- lit green – the system has recognized the card, the card has the appropriate privileges.

Dimensions:height 100mm, width 80mm, maximum thickness of the device in the outer part 21mm, maximum depth of the device part, which after assembly is in the 31mm box.
