MCD-5030C
The MCD-5030C device is designed for visual inspection of various items, i.e. mail, hand luggage, luggage and other items without opening them.
The MCD-5030C enables the identification of weapons, explosives (including plastic explosives), drugs, detonators and dangerous items posing a security risk – based on the identification of substances with an effective atomic number.
The dual-imaging system with automatic color coding of materials of different atomic numbers helps specialized inspectors to easily identify dangerous objects inside any package.
Automatic identification of suspicious objects (drugs, explosives) and highlighting optically dense objects | The algorithms used in the software enable automatic highlighting / identification of items such as weapons, explosives, narcotics, as well as opaque areas where a dangerous object may be hidden. These features increase operational efficiency. |
Fail-safe configuration of the capturing / analyzing workstation | The special configuration of the operator’s workstation makes the software resistant to viruses and other harmful interference. System shutdown occurs immediately – in a safe manner for hardware and data. |
Fast start-up and shutdown | Due to the new hardware configuration, the system is ready for operation within 30 seconds. It is also possible to shut down the system immediately. |
Multilingual interface | Covers English, Polish, Chinese and – on request – other languages. |
User-friendly interface | A set / collection of “intelligent” tools and settings enabling the operator to master the control of the system quickly, making it easy to achieve the appropriate comfort in everyday work. |
Real-time auto-diagnostics | The status of all important subassemblies and components is monitored online, so that the operational capability of the system is maintained and the operator is timely informed of any changes. |
Availability – 7 and 3 colors of imaging | The operator has the right to choose whether to use 3 imaging colors (organic / inorganic / metals), which is based on experience, or 7-color imaging, which is more detailed and allows more precise material recognition based on the effective atomic number. The new colors help the operator to maintain an appropriate level of concentration and prevent perceptual “overload” when working over a long period of time. This improves the quality of the work performed by the operator and the flow of objects within the control points. |

- RADIATION SAFETY
The system structure provides suppression of leakage radiation limited to 1.0 µSv / h (0.1 mR / h) or less at any available point within 0.1 m [3.9 “] of the external surface of the system. Dose rate at personnel workstations. does not exceed 1.0 µSv / h.
The maximum dose of radiation tested during one scan is 1.32 µSv and is safe for membranes with sensitivity up to ISO 1600 (33DIN).
