Metal detectors

Many years of experience in the production of metal detectors for security applications has allowed CEIA to design many different varieties of metal detectors so that it is possible to choose the right detector for every application. The main part of the assortment are gate detectors, which can be divided into two subgroups: column metal detectors and panel metal detectors. Other type of metal detectors are handheld detectors and detectors used in cabins (locks) with revolving doors.

TYPES OF DETECTORS:

COLUMN TYPE GATE METAL DETECTORS
These metal detectors have a circular or ellipse-shaped foot section. This makes them more resistant to mechanical damage. Column detectors also take up much less space in comparision to panel type metal detectors. This may facilitate their use in places with limited space. The main advantage of column type metal detectors is the lack of the dead angle phenomenon, making it difficult for the guard to operate the detector.

PANEL TYPE GATE METAL DETECTORS
Panel type metal detectors have parameters and are used in similar cases as column type detectors. However, there are special versions of panel type detectors, characterized by very high sensitivity, unattainable in other devices of this class. Such detectors are used wherever it is necessary to detect even the smallest metal objects (e.g. razor blades).

Hand held detectors
Manual metal detectors can be used to support the work of gate detectors, checking letters, luggage and, in a special version, also for work in prisons, hospitals, archaeological research, etc.

Detectors for cabins (locks) with revolving doors

These metal detectors can be built into cabins (sluices) equipped with two revolving doors for maintenance-free access control. These detectors can have feet in the form of columns as well as panels.
